easy DIY project with kids presents homemade gifts painted wooden spoons
Here are the painted wooden spoons I made this year to give for presents.

You can find lots of tutorials for painted wooden spoons everywhere. Without much ado: sand it, tape it, paint it, paint it again, let it dry. Peel the tape off.

Acrylic enamel is much better for this purpose, that plain acrylic. It was too matte and dull. Luckily I had spray lacquer, it saved the day.

Turquoise are painted with enamel. Other are plain acrylic + lacquer. Well, they look the same after all. But plain ones took some extra effort 🙂

Love them! Simple and joyful kid-friendly project it is!
