woodworking making wooden hooks from scratch

I’m making some elements for new busyboards, and nice sturdy wooden hooks to hold bags & backpacks in my new stunning blue (cyan) entryway.

Wood for the hooks should be harvested (pick a young tree with branches of desired size), then peeled immediately, and then left for 7-10 days for drying. That way you will get really firm and strong hooks, able to bear maximum weight.
